About This Spot

Stewarts Point Store sits quietly along the scenic stretch of Highway 1, inviting travelers and locals alike into its charming, time-worn walls. Stepping inside, you sense a slow, easy rhythm — a place where the day moves gently, conversations flow naturally, and the hum of nearby waves mingles with the murmur of familiar voices. There’s a sense of comfort here, a reminder of simpler days framed by the coastal landscape.

The store serves as a welcoming pit stop, a small crossroads where fresh baked goods warm the air in the morning, and well-made sandwiches evoke a homey, unpretentious meal enjoyed at a handful of rustic outdoor seats. It’s the kind of spot where the aroma of bread and coffee blends seamlessly with the tang of salt air, and picking up a bottle of wine or a fishing tackle feels part of the same laid-back ritual.

What stands out is how effortlessly the store weaves together its many roles—from general provisions to a favorite neighborhood haunt—without losing its quietly authentic character. There’s no rush here, only an invitation to pause, savor the local flavors, and share in moments small but genuine. Whether you’re setting out for the nearby shore or simply stopping by for a familiar taste, Stewarts Point Store carries the easy warmth of a place well-loved and well-lived in.

We stopped and got a sandwich and a drink. I had the Mississippi pot roast and it was good but I didn't read the ingredients and it had horse radish.. a little more then I like and if I had known I would have nixed it or at least on the side. It was quality horse radish, pretty hot. Old building and very popular stop, lots of locals and people traveling Hwy 1. Easy to get off but be cautious getting back on the freeway, very poor visibility and they drive too fast with limited lines of sight.

Very cute little old school store. Need to get there early in the mor I got to have one of their hot buns. Various types of fresh made bread During the week. A must see if near Sea Ranch.

We got here late in the day, very near closing, and didn't have a selection of baked goods to choose from. We need to come back to try more. Cinnamon sugar morning bun - nothing special. Bready cinnamony goodness, but absolutely not needed again.

Awesome little general store not that far away from Sea Ranch just off Route 1. Plenty of parking. They have limited outdoor seating too. They do sandwiches everyday as well as breakfast food too. By far the best item on the menu is their sticky buns which usually run out just after they open.

Just a couple of Stewarts pointing at things at Stewart's Point. Since we were there we picked up a couple of lunch sandwiches (The Hog & The Pilgrim) and both were amazing. We also picked up a loaf of fresh bread but haven't had a chance to eat any yet but if it's anything like the sandwich bread it will be great. Highly recommended stopping here for lunch and I would imagine their breakfast is just as good. The staff was nice and very helpful. The convient store section had a nice selection of items and some cool decore. There is a bench to eat at inside and several to eat at outside. We will be back and not just because we are Stewarts but because they have great food.

Stopped in for lunch on our coastal vacation. Didn’t expect to get the best Italian hero that I’ve ever had. Fresh baked roll and quality ingredients combined for an awesome sandwich. Beautiful store and great customer service.

Such a cute little store. We got some coffee and shared their generously portioned breakfast burrito which was delicious. Recommend stopping by if you are driving down PCH and looking for a nice place to take a break.

This was a cute old timey general store and I’m glad I stopped and saw the vintage antique Ice box cooler. You don’t see things like that anymore! It was a very quick stop, as most of the food was already sold out for the day at 1 PM on a Sunday, but this is high season. I grabbed a few old times sodas and a retro candy. Glad I stopped.
